It seems like you can work. Can you get a job and make enough to support yourself? Does your disease make you miss 10 or more days of work a month?
Quoting: CocoNutFlake I can't get a job. At least not one that requires interacting with other people. Which is all a job really is. Talking to your boss, talking to coworkers, talking to whoever, etc. I can't even go to a store and buy something for myself without having a severe anxiety attack. It's not that I'm talking to somebody either. It's the stimulation. All of my senses are magnified. Which is why I have a photographic memory. Lights give me insane migraines. Every sound is louder to me than it would be to someone else. Every taste, every feeling, every emotion is enhanced beyond a point that is bearable. By the time the guy says, "Do you want a bag?" I can't even think of what to say because it's just painful being there. Quoting: CJStryker Yes, you are disabled in the sense that you can't function in a job. Does this make you less valuable, or less of a person? No.
