Heres what you do, u go shopping in that store, I mean 2 or 3 cartfuls of food shopping, let thecashier wring it up and whenthey tell you there is a fee for bagging u say o well nevermind then and walk out, leaving them with all those groceries to do accounting returns on and reshelve!

Mind you, we don't necessarily support the practice, but my ever-thinking girlfriend starting making really nice cloth bags a few years back (and still does) as gifts to people in these areas. Everyone loves them since they are custom, and generally not that expensive to actually make compared to the cost of buying gifts!

Not sure what you mean by "there is a fee for bagging". There is a ten cent fee for each store plastic or paper bag used to contain your groceries. There is no fee for organizing your groceries into the bags by a store employee.

Here's an idea. By a ton of groceries,check out, refuse the bags, then have the bagger take the groceries to your car

Then have him unload the groceries into your car...

Around here in an old evil red state, our grocery stores have bins for you to bring your plastic bags back to be recycled. Maybe you progressive states should try that.

the bag costs the store money.what's the big deal. bring your own bags, or pay 10 cents each. here, small plastic bags are free, but the larger paper bags are even more expensive (about 40 cents) but that's why i bring my own reusable bags (that cost only about a buck and can be used hundreds of times).
