the "OUTSIDE PERSPECTIVE".

who would gain from a diversion of NATO, US/EUROPEAN alliance?

isnt this a clear strategy following the "divide et impera" paradigm?

this world is about to CHANGE as Obama predicted.

My question to our German friends is, WHY did you love Obama in the first place?

His long list of accomplishments?

His stellar resume?

If you (like those of us who paid attention) knew nothing about the man, why did you all confer rock star status upon him before his "election"? Why did you love him when you knew nothing about him?

You weren't wrong. Obama was (and still is compared to McCain) the lesser of two evils. McCain is an absolutely insane, corporatist pig who has sold out this country in a variety of ways. I understand he was always a POS. Palin was unfit to be president and was picked only to guarantee the loss of McCain.

You would have no difference in what is going on if McCain (or Romney for that matter) were elected. THE SAME THINGS WOULD BE GOING ON, but the problem is....most conservatives would support the VERY SAME THINGS OBAMA IS DOING if they were done by an alleged conservative/Republican. All of the wars, corporate nonsense, Monsanto, drones, spying, bail outs - ALL OF IT - would have been swept under the carpet by conservatives if Republicans had been elected. It's only because Obama is a Democrat and personally despised that all of these things have become open scandals.

So...NO, you did the right thing. We need to see the ugly open face of treason and recognize it is the entire system and both parties - NOT ONE INDIVIDUAL. When Obama is gone, the same system will stay in place with the same criminalities.

Because he showed himself as a good guy.
Good guys dont kill, good guys dont torture (waterboard), good guys want concentration camps closed.
He was liberal and he was perfectly properly and reasonably, human loving and solid, able to love at all.

I still belive in him but i know there is forces in your country that are against all that.
I really belive he wanted to close Guantanamo but he failed within the US politicans, he is not almighty.

What you guys call Obamacare is pretty normal way of life here in Europe. EVERYONE has a right of medical care, even if he can not pay for it, he will be cured.

I still think, his way is right and i still know, its not everyones opinion in the USA.

How mutch worth is a human life in the USA ?
In Europe, it is pretty worthy and people fight for the lifes of unknown others.

But no worries, we have the konservatives here running the show, selling EVERY STATE OWNED PROPERTY to private hands and totally ruining our country.

I'll take America over Germany any day. I was there a year ago, and in Germany, it's ok for a teenage boy to kidnap a 4 year old off a park and rape her. The Polizei even tried to keep me from telling my neighbors because it might hurt his feelings. A lot of backward laws in Germany. Everyone is so afraid to speak up. Afraid it will return to what it once was that you guys let little rapists get away with what they are doing. I understand the fear. But I hate with a vengeance the fear that you all have to stand up. At least in America I have a feeling that people will rise up when needed.

My confidence into the united states are deeply down. I am very disappointed and sad. So we can not make a free trade agreement because we can not have confidence on our partner. The government of the united states, especially President Barack HUSSEIN Obama have to say clearly words to the german AND EU citizens.

the spy affair is the deep point of the relations of our states. We, I, have NO MORE CONFIDENCE on the U.S. and I hope the EU will take down the talks to the free trade agreement and the ruled out the contract of flight passenger date and bank data.

I am pretty sure that your English was good enough to make clear how we in Europe and especially in Germany think about the U.S. Gobamaverment. On the other hand, believe me, most Americans see this the very same way. That's the bad thing, they see it and do nothing.

I can't speak for the Germans, personally I liked his positive karma and encouraging speeches.
It took me one term to read his real character.

I'm still a US fan, just disappointed by the extend of the NSA snooping.

It wasn't just the Germans though, many of the Europeans nations fell for the shyster in chief. It was just us normal folks who knew he was a con artist from the beginning. And no I didn't vote for mccain either, I voted libertarian for the first time in 2008 because I couldn't stomach voting for that douche bag mccain.
