They made all the kids older in the movie. Which on one hand lessens the impact, but on the other should let them be as violent and inappropriate as they want.

I was a huge huge Ender's Game fan back when I was in my late teens. I still love it. I'm counting the days until I can introduce my son to it (I'm thinking 726 days, but it may end up being sooner because of the movie - I'd much rather he read the book first) - and he has a signed copy waiting for him.

But the new branch of the series doesn't really do much for me. I'm following it when I notice a new book show up at the library basically because I'm curious to see how he ties things together.
