I hate that fucking thing.

When I was in Morocco it gave me the creeps man, blaring out at (to me) random intervals of the day.

In Ireland of course we have the Angelus at 6 o clock, which imo is not much better.

I'm not a Muslim. But we have songs of praise as well as other program's for other religions. I think it's great that they a recognising the Muslim traditions now. It might help calm the anti Muslim violence which is rampant here in England right now.

Songs of Praise is on once a week on a Sunday afternoon/evening - not every day! and before you say it's only during ramadan, how long before it's for every other muslim celebration, then every day of the year?

Anti Muslim violence?????

Can't say I've noticed any white Christians trying to behead any Muslims in England, same can't be said for the other way round though!

As for channel 4, their ratings must be down....

I appreciate that act. Islam is a religion & believe, nobody is forcing it on the others. A call for prayer in a channel is not "islamification", have some self-esteem british, your country ; you have the upper hand.

Stop the drama & the whining, and don't feel mad when people believe this religion & start practicing it. But try to ask yourself : why is it spreading so widely, despite the ongoing propaganda against it ?

Islam is a religion. Nobody is forcing it on you. I'm a muslim, and if I had christians in my country, I will not be mad when muslim channels feature their prayers.

As far as I know, a country is a place that contains people ; the people have the right to choose their faith.

When you have a large portion which like to "adapt" religious pov, you don't have the right to take that away from them.

The country -which is a reflection of the people- should respect its citizens & their religion.

You don't have the right to take that away from people, I honestly don't want to be rude -it's forbidden in my religion to talk rudely-, but you can change the channel or block it if you didn't like its content.

That means 99.9% of you will be sleep, let alone watching tv at that time ofnight.
Day break will be around 4am

political correctness is a doctrine.... fostered by a delusional, illogical minority...... and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media; which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

There are strict laws in the UK governing religion on TV. You can't promote religions on mainstream channels - there are plenty of Pakistani and islamic channels if they want to watch them. The only religion so far on mainstream TV in the UK is one hour of hymns on a Sunday afternoon. So why should muslims flout this to have their stuff played on a mainstream channel every day?
