A tribute to where revolutions really come from - the people. As we change our selves, we change the world. It's the GLP effect on a universal scale. Be safe today, everyone.
There are better ways to write a revolution
Than to choose the words out carefully
Picking up each one and shaking it a little
In the hope that it might do some dazzling thing
I’ve picked this day to bare down on all my memories
That I could free myself from them in a single blow
Letters making riotous shapes on this clean page
Raising waves of internal protestations
There is no longer the luxury of propping up the walls
And brushing off our vestments of their stray hairs
We have spent our last 30 years in the laboratory
Making violent concoctions full of hazardous ends
But we still cling to all the good we came with
Every single bit of the vastness of truth within us
Our eyes still alight and looking
Holding fast to the hope that all the world will Waken
