And what do you think will happen to physical prices once paper prices start going up? I think his post is true if you are talking about paper silver. Anyone buying into that market is an idiot. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 42760151 United States 07/06/2013 01:38 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | What is the alternative to buying silver? Letting your cash sit in some bank at 1.5% interest. Buying silver is like buying insurance, insurance for a rainy day. Like the eventual collapse of all fiat currency backed by your DREAMS!!! Quoting: RD47 32318512 1.5%? It's more like .1, up to .5 for large accounts. |

Buying silver is like buying insurance, insurance for a rainy day. Like the eventual collapse of all fiat currency backed by your DREAMS!!! Quoting: RD47 32318512 Here's the tricky part, though: we don't know when the dollar will die, or whether we'll be able to hang on to silver until its value is truly realized. I'm torn between stacking all I can and keeping some fiat around for increasing costs of everything, esp. medical. Right now, selling silver is a bad idea because of the manipulated low price, and I don't want to be caught at a bad time with silver I can't sell. In other words, if some big expense popped up, I wouldn't be able to sell siver to cover it right now. That's the risk, until we see the price shoot up and stay there (meaning they can't manipulate it anymore). Timing is everything. Have I now become your enemy by telling you the truth? (Gal. 4:16) |
