"Well, simply losing a fist fight does not entitle someone to use deadly force against the winner."
That is absolutely RIDICULOUS. It's not simply a case of two kids on a playground, having a disagreement leading to a fist fight. It's not even REMOTELY comparable to that.
It's a case of a neighborhood watchman, trying to keep an eye on an unfamiliar person, one which he did not KNOW. And this suspicious person doubling back and viciously attacking Zimmerman, assaulting him to the point of breaking his nose, bashing his head, throwing a flurry of punches, and going for Zimmerman's firearm.
So STOP trying to compare this situation to a run-of-the-mill fist fight, between two people who either knew each other previously, or who had some kind of disagreement in a bar, or whatever.
THERE IS NO COMPARISON. |

or do you think it was mud wrestling? |

Well, you can get your ass shot in a bar fight just as easily, so I'd say there is a comparison. The moral is: don't hit people, they might not just punch you back. |
