My tomato plant was surrounded, shoved around, and the crowd escalated to violence. Stripped from it's pot, leaves stripped, my poor tomato plant was humiliated in public as the crowd went as far as videoing the incident and putting it up on youtube. The police said there's nothing they can do to apprehend the unruly crowd since most were wearing hoodies. I ask, how can a tomato plant have justice in these times? It's not Black nor White and while a victim, has not gotten any sort of passionate support. My poor tomato plant. It stays home watching tv in fear of stepping outdoors after all it's been through and will take years of therapy to be that happy tomato plant again.  |
