And no, this was definitely NOT a passing boat! I'm too far to hear those. It's stopped at the moment, my phone mic wont pick up anything at all. Too dark for a picture, and there's nothing to take a photo of, just the night sky. Mosquitos are out in full force, but I'll suffer some bites to capture this. And with HAARP being "offline", I can't figure out if the area is being hit. *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* I can't force people to accept the truth, but I can expose them to it. |

Dadof2 User ID: 43184371 United States 07/16/2013 11:53 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Tonight it seemed louder than normal for sure. I've been hearin this for a couple years now. I've woke up my wife to hear it because she thought I was crazy. The noise is a rumbling sound that just goes away instantly , it doesn't fade away like an airplane and its not thunder. I'm not sure what it is but it's driving me nuts not knowing where it's coming from. I have a friend that works at Macdill and I asked if they were testing anything over there that would explain the noise. He said no nothing unusual. More and more people are hearing this so maybe we get some better possibilities posted. |

For it to be this widespread & constantly ongoing, something is seriously wrong. And I'm nowhere near MacDill, at all. I came out of the house with my daughter, thought the ceiling was going to cave in. This isn't this first time I've heard it, but its always been in or around the same areas of town. I'm seriously considering moving from the area altogether. Whatever is making that noise can't be good in any aspect, why place my family in jeopardy if we can get away from whatever it is? I heard a crazy sound come from the sky a while back. It did not sound like your description but frightening none the less. And very loud. Stay safe. Please post again if it repeats. |

Dadof2 User ID: 43184371 United States 07/17/2013 12:35 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It's clearly not associated with any "proton spike" because I As well as others have been hearing this for quite awhile. It mostly happens later at night or early a.m. - cant remember hearing really in the day but others have heard it during the day. That's what seems so odd to me is it always happens at night when the sky is dark so you can't see anything if its not lit up. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 43557418 United States 07/17/2013 12:49 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I've heard this before several times in the past, and its been on the website before. Other area users have made a thread on the same thing in the same area. Quoting: Halo2Alexis™ I'll try to pick up the sound through my cell phone when it "comes back on." At first I thought it was the air conditioner kicking in, but it was WAY too loud and constant. Not thunder, there are no clouds out. Completely clear sky, but a couple of thin clouds directly overhead look like waves. I'm literally standing in my driveway typing this, and its absolutely 110% coming from the sky. It's a VERY loud constant rumbling noise, almost like a motorcycle was parked inside the house and revving the engine. My picture frames on the entertainment center are shaking, it's THAT loud! As soon as it starts, it just stops. It's going on & off in waves of about 3-5 minutes like a tornado siren would. Someone turning it on & off. WTF?!? interesting im all the way in michigan and have been hearing the same thing tonight, it sound like maybe a couple miles out from me but the same sound u described as a motorcycle. I have also heard it before in the past as well. Verrryy odd |

I live in Lakeland and can see how intense the energy is inside the storms. Oh and a very powerful and active airforce base that conducts routine aerial maneuvers during daylight and Nighttime. Just sayin' |

Quoting: Halo2Alexis™ Thread: WOW!!Sudden proton spike Can a spike in solar activity trigger the sounds? It would have to occur on more than one occasion for it to be possible though, since its been happening for a while, at the same time of night. Thoughts? Actually, yes. It's called acoustic-gravity waves. Now here is the kicker. We aren't actually "hearing" the sounds. The spectrum of the sounds lies within the infrasound range which is not audible to humans. We might hear only a tiny bit of the power of these sounds, but more than hear them - we "feel" them. We feel the vibration and our brain interprets it as sound. They have been referred to in ancient writings as Trumpets of the gods, God's Trumpet, Thor's Hammer.... The list goes on and on. I'm not saying that this is what your rumbling is, but these things ARE real. Also... please don't call me a shill. I don't know what is causing the sounds. I'm offering this as one out of MANY possibilities. Also, the phenomenon happens in the upper atmosphere of the earth. So explaining the localization of the sounds... no clue how that would work. Just sayin' Oh I don't doubt it, but there are absolutely no clouds out, then or now, and no storms in the horizon in any direction. Nothing on radar. That was my first thought. Night ops is a possibility, but there were no planes in the area. This was not a plane, a chopper, life flight...I came running out of the house with my 3 year old thinking the house was going to cave in. Photos were shaking on the walls, but when I got outside, not a breath of wind. Completely clear. So unless a fighter jet decided to hover over my house for 5 minutes & land directly on the roof, while men in black suits rappelled down the side, this wasn't an airplane. *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* I can't force people to accept the truth, but I can expose them to it. |
