I know I'm an old fart, but what's happened to comedy movies? I was watching Ghostbusters the other day with my kids and that movie is hysterical. I just don't find the newer crop nearly as funny.

What's your favorite comedy from the 70s-90s?
 Quoting: *Rhombus*

Agreed. Too much of today's live-actor comedy movies are just too stupid to be funny.

Ghostbusters was epic. The Blues Brothers and Blazing Saddles were awesome. Dragnet with Dan Aykroyd was pretty good.

Today, the best comedies are cartoons like Despicable Me. That was a hilarious movie.

I know it's not the season for it but my vote goes to "A Christmas Story".

But Goonies was also a good one.

We took our 15 year old to it for his birthday. It was almost as good as the first one. Lots of minions too wink

I love comedies from the 80s, they had a more innocent vibe to them, comedy today is too jaded.
