CHICAGO, July 23, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- CME Group, the world's leading and most diverse derivatives marketplace, today announced it reached a new open interest record for its Gold options contract yesterday, July 22, 2013. Open interest in Gold options reached 1,808,693 compared to July 19, 2013, the last record day, when open interest reached 1,797,679 contracts.

These contracts are listed by and subject to the rules of COMEX.
