The argument this man makes is uncomfortable, yet valid. I am a black married mother of 2 and I used to be the loud, obnoxious, talking over people, using my curvy figure as leverage individual he speaks of in the video. Thanks to college ( I have my BS in medical biology) I am not her. if it weren't for me being exposed to rational people for 4 years and learning new tactics of communication, I could very well have been this irrational woman in fatigues with a gun in my trunk. It is how we're raised, we are like animals with no valid moral compass to guide us, being that our parents are usually uneducated and so were their parents.
This man (in the vid) speaks from within the community because he's exposed to it. It is a well known fact that a majority of uneducated blacks are mindless drones running around injuring each other with words, bullets, and illogically using wealth as a visual instead of saving it investing. We mimick those we look up to, and I can say with absolute positivity, her guardian was not a great role model, neither was the victims.
Blacks will never change, our 'whites owe me' state of mind hinders our progression in America. We sit around and play the blame game instead of going out and obtaining what we all have a chance at, and it's education and wealth. In my 34 years, no white has ever hindered my progression in America, so why should I march, riot, choose sides or hate a white man/woman? I hate my race.

What could someone like you with such a mature world view of the situation do to help change that? What in your view is the reason that there are so precious few educated and logical black LEADERS on the TV, in Hollywood, politics, etc?

I simply cannot understand why someone like yourself isn't lifted up and championed by the black community instead of disregarded as an anomaly or worse.

Granted, I literally have NOTHING as a reference to base a guess at my own question off of - white people do not have any real sense of "my people" as most of us are so multi-national in our blood lines that there just isn't a true sense of "us".

Hence why we race into other divisions (Christians v/s Atheist, Democrat v/s Republican, Rich v/s Poor) because humans are desperate to belong to something... but it's obviously different.
