As God brought Israel into the promised land, did he not tell us that there were seven nations mightier than them in the land but that with the Lord's strength they'd conquer them? Little by little...? Now, what if your body is the land and the New Testament is all about grace teaching us to deny ungodliness and worldly evil desires....'nations' within ourselves that must be slain and conquered...? The only differences that appear are due to our lack of understanding... |
