Government states...National Debt stayed the same last 70 days and 40% tax rates for small business are coming

Yeah, just look at how everyone seems to have been distracted with the Trayvon trial while the debt keeps escalating and the "phony scandals" are swirling faster than ever.

Wonder what ever happened to those threads - I was following them for a long time.....

How about 20% on businesses, corporate or otherwise making over $200,000. 10% on individuals making over $100,000 and nothing for anyone else. There is so much waste in the current tax code, but so much going uncollected as in the 5 largest corporations paying nothing! For years!

I don't see either one happening. But regarding the fed, I seriously don't personally know a single person who can give a coherent answer when asked, "What is the Federal Reserve?"

The most academic answer would be, "Some kind of government thing. Um. I think."

In Norway, all limited companies (not personal businesses) have 28% tax, no VAT (must be payed and accounted for, but is refunded). To favorize corporation in this way is a discriminating act against smaller companies.

They want to reduce the tax rates for larger corporations while increasing taxes on small business. Fuck this shit. I can't barely afford to pay my bills as a 1099 contractor with an LLC. My total taxes now are over 50%. If income tax itself is raised to 40% my total tax rate will be well above 60% making the entire thing completely pointless. They are gunning to shut down the few self-employed citizens left down.

do you factor in unrealized revenue in that number? I bet you don't.

They are actually taking money from the federal pension funds to balance the budget until congress increases the debt limit.. (Because they will NEVER willingly cut spending)so the actual national debt doesnt go up because their net borrowing via bond sales cannot go above the debt limit by law...

Theyve sone it before and suppoaedly paid it back...

The wheels will come completely off when the Social Security checks stop

brawls like the Huntington beach riot are nothing compared to what's going to happen. Think about who's getting these checks.... really really think about it. And it's not the so called "baby boomers".

Hence the confusion as to why the Treasury is reporting a smaller number on their closing debt statements each day. The link to their statements is in the first post, one from May and the other from July and the end of day number is the same.... they are cooking the books.

What they are waiting for, no one really knows.
