I'll bet you the accusations would be less than half what they are now. The horrible thing about sex crime accusations is that it more often than not turns into one persons word against another, and people can have all kinds of motivations for lying. NO PHYSICAL EVIDENCE IS REQUIRED TO INDICT OR CONVICT! The accused must prove a negative Now who do you think a jury is going to sympathize with, a person accused of a sex crime or the accuser? It's a stacked deck from the get go. Sex crimes prosecutions in te US are an exact mirror of the witch trials of Salem. It is a shame on us all. People don't care until it's someone they care about being accused. |

These people had to live on with this bullshit for 10 years before they got justice against her. And yet, after all that, people still believe this actually happened and call them racists. I have no sympathy for her and do wish we'd bring back hanging people for such actions. |
