Sinkholes, Sinkholes, Sinkholes.
Last month a little boy was swallowed by a sinkhole and earlier today they found another one had developed.

"This is obviously a very rare occurrence but we know it's not a unique occurrence," said park ranger Bruce Rowe.

It sounded like a thunderstorm as windows broke and the ground shook, but vacationers who were awakened at a resort villa near Orlando, Fla., soon realized the building was starting to collapse — parts of it swallowed by a 100-foot sinkhole that also endangered two neighboring buildings.

Ya gotta admit, it is a freaky phenomenon! In the Houston area, news on them was always roads caving in.

Yet now around the globe, houses are the norm!

Yeah. Pretty crazy, living in the city adds a whole new level of challenges obviously. What's funny is that a lot of these are happening in areas where there really is not a whole lot of weight on it except for the recent Disney resort hotel.

A freaky one is in Sweden (I believe, memory :/ ). There are a lot of mineral mines and the underground is like Swiss cheese. They have been slowly relocating the town buildings which lay atop the sinkholes/cave-in areas.
