User ID: 1469681 United States 08/15/2013 11:25 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Wow, thanks for posting this. We have a bag of this we bought about a month ago. Our dog absolutely refused to eat it so we had to get her something else. We were saving the bag to give to my in-laws. Glad to get this out of the house now and glad my dog could maybe sense something was off about it. |

You'd think they'd have a way of contacting major pet stores and tell us to get it off the shelves immediately instead of us finding out after we clock out and go home. Thanks for posting this. I'm setting the alarm for 6 AM so I can go in and pull these from the shelves. |

It has the link to the codes and UPC numbers, date, etc. Your store should have gotten notice...I'd hope. Maybe they don't have any of the recalled numbers. Might want to check before pulling. |

Thanks, Nine. I've copied the UPS, Lot #'s etc. I know for a fact we didn't receive notice. The store manager was there when I got to work at 5 PM and she'd just checked the emails from corporate. NOTHING about this. Thank GOD for GLP! I'm also happy that we have a program that rewards buyers of Iams and Eukanuba with a 10th bag "free". Because of this we keep a card on file of their purchases and it contains the lot numbers of each bag they buy. I can easily go through them tomorrow and notify any customers who have bought this food- though it will take several hours. But at least it's better than trying to find a needle in the haystack. I'm just pissed that my employer wasn't notified of this immediately. You'd think the companies of IAMS and Eukanuba would have been in overdrive to prevent sales of the contaminated product. |
