What good is an earth that has billions of years to sustain life unto life forms that become extinct?

What good does quantity offer a species that no longer desires to breed or raise any young?

Or to breed and raise young in a quantity that can aid to continuing the species?

Even secure it better in times of high calamity and disease.

Thought is death to this world the same it is life unto this world.

Desire determines the quality the quantity and the way or form of thought so be it..it goes: hot or cold, up or down right or left, dead or alive.

We think and there for we are the danger that endangers us all. This thinker of life or death determines the end of the way unto many a species, even its own self.
