Take one day at a time.

Don't concern yourself about when He's comming or if it is our generation. Every generation has thought the same. Besides, Jesus has specifically commanded us not be concerned with spiritual seasons. These things are not for us to know, even Jesus didn't know them when He walked the Earth, only His Father in Heaven. It is a distraction.

Instead, work out your salvation daily with fear and trembling, seeking God with all your heart, longing to be in a place where He will say to you "Well done good and faithful servant" on the day of judgement.

Many "Christians" will not hear this from Him at that time, they are too distracted by whens, some waste most their time on this planet consumed by this.
