To the AC who said 12 steppers are weak- I didn't mention anything about working 12 steps or any type of recovery fellowship to begin with. However, some of the best people that I've met in my life are in AA and are some of the strongest individuals that I know of. Furthermore, I wanted to have a drink because of stress and personal things going on in my life right now. I was drank throughout my 20's (I'm 29 now) and I quit in August of 2011 due to a huge lack of motivation and a desire to not do anything meaningful with my life. In the last two years I have turned my life around in ways that I never imagined possible. I'm back in college and I have a 3.6 gpa, which I'm quite sure is pretty damn good.
