I will just share my personal story with you because I think it is so important...I was married once before to a wonderful man he was a Police Officer who through many injuries retired early, he once was a social drinker but not really, his dad was a severe alcoholic and he went down the same road....

I watched the Bottle drink him...12 Rehab Hospitals, In and out of the hospital for Alcoholic Withdrawl Seizures, hit by a car while drunk, went through his savings and retirement account, died alone with a vodka bottle....
