May I ask....what bands influenced and inspired you?

Hmm. Well my all time favorite guitarist is Randy Rhoads, so the bands he was in inspired me at the very beginning. ( Ozzy Osbourne & Quiet Riot) But more recent inspiration would have to be Dream Theater, Megadeth, Van Halen, Animals as Leaders.. I can go on and on. Lol! But it all boils down to my favorite guitarists, Randy Rhoads, Marty Friedman, Jason Becker, John Petrucci, and Steve Vai. hf

I was going to ask what musicians inspired you but I wanted to know what bands "rocked your world". I loved Van Halen! I was nuts about Alex Van Halen. A David Lee Roth kind of guy would be a great front man for your throw down. Everybody be goin nuts for you! Unfortunately a big fat ego would be packaged up with that kind of performer. But he sells it! It made me smile when you said Quiet Riot.Lol I got the gist of your age. Well......you have a wonderful talent. Do another song soon. Somebody had a thread about a theme song for glp....your song would be a good choice!

More of a Marty Friedman guy when it comes to Megadeth to be honest! Lol. Chris Poland is freakin talented, don't get me wrong, but Marty's guitar style was so unique it made me wanna play EXACTLY like him. Normally most guitarist understand musical scales, and how to stretch the limits to go beyond normal playing -- Marty however creates all his own scales based off how he think it should sound in a certain key and that struck me as so freakin unique, there was a point when I learned every single was on of his songs on guitar from Megadeth, and hell, even some from Cacophony with Jason Becker! Haha

Haha, I guess my favorite guitarists would kind of show my age. Lol. I'm only 22. :P And I wish! I would love to jam out with a David Lee Roth-like personality and vocalist! We'd get along so freakin well. Lol! But thank you so much! I'm actually working on a song at the moment I created in high school for a songwriting contest -- which won district and regionals, but got runner-up in state. (I lost to some dubstep song, blegh) But I lost the recording of it a long time ago from a computer malfunction so I'm working on doing it again. It's called Atlantis and reflects on the emotions I was going through in the 'waking-up' phase when I realized how much of a lie we're living in with all the propaganda around us. So hell, that might be a good fit for GLP! Haha.
