Saying that as someone who dealed a good part of my life with an autistic person myself, I would say it is probably not gonna work:
1 - They usually are very shy and tend to get scared/violent in situations out of their daily strict routine
2 - Even if he talks, its very possible that it would sound incoherent to us
3 - The dad is trying to protect the kid from excessive exposure that internet will certainlly give

I find it odd that during the entire video, the father in question keeps darting his eyes to the left instead of the right. This is indicative of a man that is creating fiction rather than remembering truth. Facial tells are extremely important in situations like this. He could be left handed though, idk... there are other tells...

My 5 year old shocked us when he said "Here Comes Jesus" back in April, the day before Easter. The words came out perfectly clear and he did it for about 2-3 days after...hasn't said it since. Otherwise, his speech is limited and can vary.

Don't discount because he's autistic. There are also approximately 50 savants in the world. Every single one of them are autistic to some degree. Remember the rain man? Studies show they don't use their brains like we do. We use one side or the other at one time. When they think, they use both sides at the same time. His special ability could be that he's psychic. I for one would listen. I think of it like this....it's better to be prepared and not need it than need it and not be prepared.

Now that you mentioned it....I'm left handed and did a little test. When I use my imagination, my eyes go to the right; when I recall something, I look to the left. SO it does seem to be the opposite, at least for me.
