I am also leaving WSMR with my family. We have ~60 days. To help you understand the forces at play in the propulsion system of the object, let me add this: The OP mentioned the moon came here via such a propulsion system. True, that is our accepted theory. We also believe this civilization attempted to put a planet in orbit around our sun. Given the evidence scattered about the debri field we believe the propulsion systems imploded with the planet resulting in the asteroid belt. Yes, we have found and mapped remnants of the propulsion system about the asteroid belt. We don't know what is going to happen. Be prepared with water and food and perhaps personal protection.
