I was never a Christian, technically, but I did join the Jehovah's Witnesses sect, and then left a few years after I joined because I realized that the whole thing is a scam.

I started doing my own research into Christianity because I was curious how the religion's members could actually believe that the Most High impregnated a human female, when one can clearly read for themselves that the Most High even forbade the angels from mixing with humans genetically (Levitical law about not mixing unlike seed with unlike seed), and that He punished angels who did in fact impregnate human females.

That and other things caused me to investigate what I had been told. As for the JW religion, what made me investigate them was how they dealt with the child molestation charges they were facing at the time. The fact that they didn't want the victims to go to the authorities (and how they dealt with their members who did) made me see that the religion was not something the Most High had any dealings with because the org was protecting known child sex offenders.

After researching everything for about a year, I knew that I HAD to leave the Jehovah's Witness religion, and neither Christianity or any other religion has been able to serve as a suitable replacement. Religion is a lie, plain and simple.

A sister of a good friend of mine is a Jehovah's witness. She will have very little to do with her sister now. They were very close when they were kids. Big time brainwashing. It makes me sick. I am glad you found your way out of it. And yes, religion is a lie.

I am in my fifties now, female and a former Christian.

I stopped being a Christian and became a more spiritual person about 8 years ago. I had, what I believe, was a spiritual awakening. That is when I started learning more about aliens, The NWO, 911 etc etc..all the things that brought me to GLP in the first place. It was like I was guided to find more truths after my spiritual awakening.


I am not an atheist. I believe in a creator. But in no way am I a Christian. I don't believe in hell. I don't believe that a loving God would send me to hell for being human. I hate the blackmailing and threats from some Christians.

I would be interested to hear why some of you are no longer Christians and if one event led you to where you are today or if you just changed over time. Please share your experiences.

I honestly done understand how anyone can do any real research into the new world order, ufo's and the occult and not become a Christian. it seems utterly impossible to me. you must not have done a proper amount of research sorry. it invevitably comes down to a simple misunderstanding of the Christian faith and ones own personal problems and sentiments on Hell, the own sin in their lives and ignorance surrounding such topics

OP, I find this fascinating, simply because the reasons you have left Christianity are the reasons I have converted (I would say I was agnostic before). I find that aliens, NWO, 911 etc. are all indicative of end time prophecy being fulfilled.

What about these things have made you lose you faith?

I can understand not wanting to believe in hell. But I do believe in a loving God and that his judgement and punishment will be fair.

Just one example why I am no longer a believer. No love to be found in these people.

Yes you are right. I LOVE truth. And that is why I believe very little of anything I read. I didn't become spiritual because of something I read. I became spiritual because of what I felt and knew in my heart.

Like I said can you prove the poster is not using Spiritual Warfare to cause the very reaction you are having? Have you been to that one southern baptist website that has hate for everything and everyone?

All of you Christians, with what I am sure are only good intentions, are only confirming that I made the right decision. I have been there, done that. I have no intentions of going back to that. I moved on from it and have never regretted it.
