They could also have shot some tear gas into the guys bedroom. These days cops don't just shoot you when they have no other option. They shoot you if there is anyway they can possibly justify it. |

A mental defective can't be depended on to use reason. Is killing him the only way..? Are these professional law enforcement officers not trained to deal with these types of situations, or do they now shoot first and ask questions later..? |

Enough to not risk it by trying to shoot the police... The guy was almost surely senile. The police could have easily ended that stand off without killing the old man. You know the guy couldn't see very well and probably shook uncontrollably when holding the gun. The actual threat he posed while barricaded in his room was almost zilch. Why not gas him? Why not just wait until the old guy forgot what he was doing? Why not try to talk him out? And what were they doing in his house at that point? During a stand off aren't the cops supposed to be outside behind their cars while the negotiator tries to get the guyto surrender? I live in Arkansas and I can tell you that the PBPD has a history of not doing shit right. |

Quoting: Waterbug SWAT team kills 107-year-old Arkansas man in shootout [link to www.cbsnews.com] snip A 107-year-old man was killed during a shootout with members of an Arkansas SWAT team Saturday evening. In a statement to CBS affiliate KTHV-TV in Little Rock, the Pine Bluff Police Department say the incident occurred after officers responded to a disturbance. Upon arrival, police found an "Aggravated Assault" against two people had occurred. The 107-year-old, Monroe Isadore, pointed his gun at the policemen who responded and at some point barricaded himself inside a bedroom, according to CNN. Police say that when they approached the bedroom where Isadore was hiding and announced their presence, he shot at them. Backup was called in, as well as a SWAT team, and further negotiations failed to get Isadore to turn himself in, according to police. A small camera determined Isadore was armed with a handgun inside the bedroom. already posted MORAN!! Thread: 107-Year-Old Man Killed in Shootout With SWAT Team |

Its almost as if they see us as sub human, a bunch of piggies and monkeys, them stupid earthling slaves. We went from reform to strapping folks down and putting bags on thier heads or simply shooting them in the street. And you still cant see they all look alike now. odd. |

I never forgive and I never forget I am a licensed firearm holder. I will, under protection of law, use lethal force if attacked. |
