Re: Help - How Is Google Tracking Me On My Seaches??
Any computer, internet geeks here that can help me figure this out?

I never noticed this before but Google is tracking my searches. I recently made a plane reservation with Southwest and a car rental for an upcoming trip. Now whenever I do a search for anything, it starts to bring up Southwest Airlines and or rental companies in the search field, no matter what I type in. Weird and troublesome.

I use FireFox, my cookies are disabled and don't have anything that I can find on my computer or saved in my browser.

Any suggestions on this?

Re: Help - How Is Google Tracking Me On My Seaches??
Just wanted to follow up with my fellow GLPer's who helped me out today.

I edited my Hosts file and saved the original, just in case I screwed up. Then I went on Google and tried some of the searches I did earlier today. No tracking noticed, yea!

So far, so good!

I'll try some of the other suggestions this week.

Reminds me of one of our local news reporter on TV this week who was complaining about his Gmail. He actually showed a clip that when he started an email and entered a particular word, to the right section, an ad would appear related to that word. To me, Google has gone too far, gotten too big and too Big Brother!

Again, thanks guys!

You are welcome
"The world will soon wake up to the reality that everyone is broke and can collect nothing from the bankrupt, who are owed unlimited amounts by the insolvent, who are attempting to make late payments on a bank holiday in the wrong country, with an unacceptable currency, against defaulted collateral, of which nobody is sure who holds title."

Thanks for the TOR update, again, lol. Glad I didn't upload.
I use UC Browser for my Android.

OP, perhaps you should send Homeland Security an incident report on 'gaggle'
lmao
