You'd think the bikers would do something I mean 1.2mil even 800k drive around the road block make a statement. |

Then says only thousands attended. Of course it is only a blog, so... That was just the bikers leaving Los Angeles. It helps to read more than just the thread title before commenting. "Accept now that all you have seen from the day of your birth on the surface of the earth, to the present, are wonderful only because the finite mind of man is confused with fragments of evidence, that, from whatever direction we meet them, spring from an unreachable infinity." "There was a man who could create what could not be imagined. A temple so great you questioned if it was built with human hands. A man who built an idea into the greatest force the world has ever known. A world built from a single word. I care not for the folly of man but for the end of human contention." |

It was on FOX NEWS. They said they had been getting calls all day on this story. I think it was on the Five. If you break my wings, I will just find a cloud and learn to fly again. The Lord will catch you when you fall or teach you to fly! May the footprints I leave lead you to BELIEVE. |

I'm a proud Texan & American, posting from Central Texas & have no clue why my flag shows friggin Canada(no offense to my Canadian friends). Diderot "Immigration without assimilation is invasion!" - Anonymous Coward Gird your lions, shave your Family & panic sex the 'maters! "When your so-called religion is purely a political theory of conquest, and deception is one of it's core principles then it strikes me as perfectly sane and reasonable to assume literally everyone who is of such a "religion" to be exactly the same POS who deserves to be treated as the enemy non-stop." User ID: 46146414 United States 09/13/2013 10:56 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The point of this whole thing is, on a couple of days notice, over a million patriots gathered and rode into DC on their iron horses. It was a peaceful ride but, just imagine if they were ticked off and had a few weeks to plan their visit! There are still plenty of Americans who are not willing to give up on their freedoms and that's got to have TPTB more than a little worried. The first 4 minutes of this video gives you a pretty good idea of how many bikers rolled into the capital. [link to youtu.be] |

stashing User ID: 46813305 United States 09/13/2013 11:30 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | [link to www.facebook.com (secure)] It all started on FB in response to the muslim march and grew so quickly it without a doubt ended up being patriotic instead of rebellious. A large number of the 1.2M bikers/motorcyclists are veterans. This huge historic gathering that no one saw was 1.2 million people gathered peacefully for one cause. There were zero incidences, no signs, no controversial speeches. And no media coverage. You have to really search to find it but I assure you it was very real and the DC police are who released that number. The FB page is still adding to it as bikers return home, mainstream media was almost entirely silent. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 46311418 United States 09/13/2013 11:32 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | 55 Miles? Come on you really believe that shit? This is why the media gets allowed with not reporting these stories because of idiot fucking bloggers and idiots on forums who repeat this crap. I don't doubt for a minute that a lot of people showed up. Maybe even 1.2 million as some estimates say. But the pictures in that link and the links that link from that site are bogus and are taken from rallies all around the country from the last ten years. In my opinion, they were circulated to discredit the actual even which you can find almost no photos of after the fakes started flooding the internet. 99% of the blogs and news sites are showing old fake photos from sturgis and other biker rallies. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 41468121 United States 09/14/2013 12:14 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | There must be more online websites that are well known to some degree (not sure how many viewers GLP has), where awesome stories like this can be posted by and then re-verified by actual people. There probably are. Anyone know any? How do you make this viral? That seems to be the only time the news takes notice, once they have no choice. I'm so tired of hearing about another story like this one where I see people being really excited about it, only to search for it on the internet and find it grossly distorted, "debunked", underplayed or otherwise compromised in some way. These bikers should've been on every media outlet so that more people could've known about it and supported them if they wanted to. Very few people truly stand up for what they believe anymore in this country (without hurting people in the process, to be clear, haha). This is unprecedented and should've been treated as such. Seriously, media? How do you sleep at night knowing you're contributing to the milquetoast that is this country's news? And people keep EATING it like it's actually good! |

Read foreign news, they loved it and it was covered overseas far better than our own country. Why is govt afraid to let america see this? Quoting: stashing 46813305 Because they want to instill fear and helplessness in the sheep, not hope and strength in the warriors. It is they who should fear us. They work FOR US! |

I do think TPTB will underestimate them, but I'm 100% certain they won't let another one of these rallies slip by without trying to get their claws in somehow. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 5260746 United States 09/14/2013 01:17 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Yes they obviously want it kept silent. I think it is great that your people are showing that they will not take any old crap. Why would the muslim's want to pick 9/11 as the date to protest on? Quoting: Anonymous coward 1408355 Muslims also post loved ones that day. Muslims in American also experienced n attack on their country that day. Muslims also breathed the smoke and debris. Muslims also donated blood. Muslims experienced everything other Americans experienced and one thing more. They were glared at and spat at. People told Muslims who had been born here to "go home". They were accosted and assaulted. Fathers Asier furor wives and daughters ti stop wearing hijab. Muslims felt they merced to hide their identity to be safe from you. Muslims grieved as much as ayone that day. But Muslims grieved alone. Im glad they are finally occupying public space and participating in oublic commemoration or that day. They staged a march for peace. What could possibly be wrong with that? |
