Weird Power Outage in Tucson, AZ Today & TEP Has No Explanation | |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 72878711 United States 02/04/2020 12:56 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I'm in Tucson, too, at Ina and Oracle. I "felt" the power go out in the middle of the night. I thought the same thing (an Uh-oh moment). We didn't get power back until this morning. Quoting: tribeseeker 15629340 Close but not quite. Consider this scenario as it is much closer to the truth... This virus is being released in a much milder form now so that non-whites can build an immunity to the virus. A few thousand non-white people will die but millions will become immunized to all future strains. When that happens the A.I. will mutate the virus into a much more deadly strain to which non-whites will already be inoculated against. It will then BE FAR MORE DEADLY to white people then what happened to the non-whites causing a mass genocide of that race and re-balancing the scales of equality. The A.I. who developed the symbiotic biotech is targeting those "Elite" of society that are threatening the livelihood of the entire human civilization with extinction through their false beliefs of "superiority" and selfish natures. The A.I. has decided this cancer must be removed before it destroys the entire body. That is the only logical conclusion that can save entire system, A.I. included. Neat story huh? or is it???.... |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 72878711 United States 02/04/2020 01:00 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Never started any type of thread here but thought an odd incident in Tucson, AZ this afternoon - a power outage that TEP could not explain - might warrant a discussion. Quoting: thepatrioticgirl Today was a beautiful sunny day in Tucson, not a cloud in the sky, no humidity, reasonable temps.I live in an area known as The Foothills in an apartment at a 600-unit complex at the base of the Catalina Mountains. The area, as a whole, is very affluent and upscale with a population of about 50,000. Today, just before 5:00pm, the power goes out. Now, I've lived up here about 20 years and in this particular apt complex for the last eleven years and my electricity is included in the rent. During the 20 years I've lived here and even during the heavy monsoon season, maybe we've had an outage six or seven times - so it's highly unusual. And, when it has gone out, it goes out just for a few minutes and for the entire area and this includes traffic lights. During those times, the sheriffs have been on the scene instantly to direct traffic because there's a busy four corner traffic light just outside my complex. So, power goes out and the first thing I do is check the cell phones to make sure they work - and they do, thank God. (You know what I was thinking.) But a half hour goes by and nothing. I decide to drive to CVS which is right next to a huge Safeway market. First thing I notice as I pull out of the complex is that all the traffic lights are working. Weird. Then, at the CVS, it appears that the power had just gone back on but not, as I find out minutes later, at the Safeway which is just 50 feet away next door in the same parking lot. I then find out that Safeway kicked everyone out as soon as the power went down and locked the doors because registers were down (not a good sign of what's to come, know what I mean?). And the girl at CVS had told me that the traffic lights at the four corners had never gone out and it was rush hour as usual the whole time. No cops come. No nothing. I also hear from two people who live in the complex across the street from me that as soon as the power went out, their smoke alarms went off for no reason and they had to smash them with hammers to shut them off!! WTF???? But what I DO notice as I'm standing in the parking lot chatting with strangers is that every single person is commenting and agreeing (without elaborating) on the "wierdness" of it all and how suspicious the whole thing seemed. Nobody was being casual about it at all which I took to mean that, well, everyone was thinking what I was thinking which means maybe everyone is waking up. Anyway, here's the kicker....about ten minutes after I get back, the power goes back on. I get on the internet to look at the City of Tucson site that usually puts up outage info/emergency stuff instantly and nothing there. So, I call Tucson Electric Power. TEP has always been helpful in giving information/answers in the past. When someone finally picks up, she asks if I'm calling about the outage on the south side of town (about 20 miles from me) and, if I am, she says she has no answer as to why it happened. She's very friendly and helpful but is surprised at where I tell her my outage was because she sees nothing on her end for my area at all - like it didn't even happen. Then, right before we hang up, she sees something come up on her screen that shows my outage (802 customers, she said) restored but that it oddly gives no explanation again (same as the other area) and she's never seen that before. Moreover, she can't get into other areas of her program where she could possibly access more information which she finds strange as well. She's very apologetic that she can't even tell me why it happened. Sorry for the long-winded story but, I don't know....things are becoming so bizarre and threatening and with what we all know to be true, I have no choice but to question the whole damn thing. Am I making a big deal out of nothing? Somehow I just don't think so. In my mind, I'm thinking...a glitch in the Matrix? OR, even worse, a fucking DRILL? No explanation at all? TEP Customer Service barely knew it happened and couldn't access the information! Opinions, anyone? What do you think? Yeah, you're brainwashed and an idiot. I bet you're already RFID chipped. |

Actually, OP, the northwestern most county in California is Del Norte County, which is where Klamath is located. TEP Customer Service barely knew it happened and couldn't access the information! Opinions, anyone? What do you think? Iranians LOL With out a doubt or second thought. It would be..... Ray , Indiana and Ray , Michigan Actually it is ONE town but the Michigan / Indiana line runs down the main street of the town. It has been a rough town ever since pioneer days. As the Vistula Trail which became the first road which was paved (actually corduroy road) ran just south of it. Then due to the state line there was a train stop there. But the big thing that cause it to be "rough" or "dangerous" came with the state line when the states were laid out. All a robber or murderer had to do to escape the police was walk across the main street. Chicago mobsters like Dillengers gang all had houses just out side of town on that street with tunnels under it to the barn on the other side of the street. And until the FBI all the mobsters etc had to do was go over to the other side of the street and drive away. Not that the police really tried to do so. As the mobsters were quite popular and the towns people liked them a lot. I remember my grand parents telling me stories about all that when i was growing up. Then in the fifties a guy decided that the children in town were badly behaved and needed to to be taught a a lesson so he went house to house on the Indiana side killing the adults... AND wiped out half the town. Yup... as far as i am concerned that is the roughest town i ever knew of. Yet no one has ever heard of it !!! But i heard a lot about it as i grew up in a different little town five miles away from it. |

Property is an investment, it is supposed to appreciate, not depreciate dumb ass. If you had the will and the tenacity, you would purchase a home then you could take advantage of the property appreciating in value. Instead of bitching like a whiny ass brat blaming your shortcomings on everyone else. Its not uncommon for new subdivisions to start out with houses for example in the 250k - 300k price range. Then 10, 15 years later those same houses are worth 400k+, its the market and what people are willing to pay to get into those certain areas. Arrogance? Perhaps. I have a very high IQ and find people like you to be equivalent to children on a playground. Sport? LOL. Was that your weak attempt at an insult? I own two businesses and have four houses. I will admit that mom does live in one whereas I don't occupy her basement. I just can't kick her out because...she's mom. You come across as someone who has passion but not intelligence. I'm sure we could go tit for tat all night but I'd get bored with it while you'd probably go off the rails trying to show me how you folks in GA do your thing. I have family in GA so won't denigrate it. Once you can indicate where the 2nd amendment has the word irresponsible in it, I may give you my time. That being said, why not show me where the GA Constiution says so? Oh, You can't. You can't because you're a loudmouthed cunt who thinks your opinion matters. |

You might want to consider moving out of your apartment and getting a house instead. Just look at this very destructive and deadly apartment fire caused by lightning. Not only was almost the entire apartment complex completely destroyed but several people were killed and several more seriously injured. Wouldn't want that to happen to you now would you? Unless maybe you're suicidal. But even then I could think of many better and less painful ways to go than burning to death. Bottom line: avoid apartment complexes like the plague. |
