Once I stopped eating spicy food, it went away. Quoting: ANHEDONIC Seriously? Wonder why? That is very interesting. Yep... For a period of about 2 years I would order both Thai and Indian takeout once a week and I would always get dishes that were medium to hot in spicyness... Eventually I took that food out of my diet and realized that my face never got red anymore.... Also, not long ago I was eating scrambled eggs fairly frequently and putting Franks Red Hot on them.... I noticed my face getting red again at that time so I definitely think there's a connection there.... |

I stopped eating meat so I stopped getting Thai/Indian takeout. It was rather awesome & delicious though. |

You mix a tablespoon of water with baking soda. Thank you, my friend. I do not have this problem(thank God) but came across this article and know many people who have this condition. The baking soda is good info that I will pass along, tho. Appreciate it!! :) You accept the love you think you deserve~~~ Love cannot live where there is no trust~~~ Truth has no temperature~~~ Love like it's never gonna hurt~~~ Have no regrets~~~ |

User ID: 44765733 Romania 10/01/2013 06:25 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Tiny mites – eight-legged arachnids related to spiders – live in the pores of our facial skin. They are particularly fond of the hair follicles of eyebrows and eyelashes, and the oily pores most common on the nose, forehead and cheeks. Called Demodex, the mites eat sebum, or facial oil, and colonize your face at puberty. Quoting: Abi ~ They crawl about your face in the dark to mate, then crawl back into pores to lay their eggs and die. Healthy adults have around one or two mites per square centimetre of facial skin How gross is that?? [link to www.newscientist.com] Can we kill them with fire??? |

And I bet they hang tight. I will use a nail brush and then shave. And I don't even have Rosacea, it is just the thought. The article says that every human has these mites. Rosacea may be caused by an increase in their number, that's all. But we all have these bastards in our pores. |
