I love how everybody thinks that all the government facilities and services that THEY enjoy just happen as if by magic.

First of all, social security is not a hand out.

These seniors have been paying taxes all their life into this program, along with their employers matching taxes.

I think you missed the point of the thread.

It's about Obamacare, that they would still fund this program that the majority of us don't want, but not fund social security and they are both considered mandatory spending. It's about you can't pick and choose which program you will fund, both being equal. It's about going against the will of the people. It's about taking senior's social security that they have paid into all their life and not pay them, but fund a train wreck health insurance program that requires you, the tax payer, to support millions of other people with free insurance who haven't paid a dime into the program, not to mention a program that's taking all of your medical records, personal and credit information to store it with the NSA data centers.
