DreamSeeker (OP) User ID: 95485 United States 05/19/2006 06:57 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | My son's friend picked the bat up even though my son told him not to. He was holding the bat in his hand with his hands cupped. When he opened his hands to show us the bat he had about 6 small bites on his fingers/hands. He didn't feel it biting him when it did, but it left tiny little marks behind. Of course we gave him the whole lecture about how he should have never picked up the bat to begin with. Not to mention, he brought it INTO THE HOUSE to show us. We told his parents and they refused to take him to the doctor. He just got very lucky because the bat didn't have rabies. (especially considering by the time you show symptoms of rabies, it is too late) We were disgusted that his parents wouldn't take him in for treatment. |
