When times get tough and you want to know who to trust, trust the poor, the hard working, the humble, the outcasts, the ugly.

Unlike the "knowledge pushers" of society trying to make money from fake knowledge, these poor truly wise beings are not easy to talk to or easy to gain their trust.
They speak in very broad, casual and vague terms when asked about spiritual issues. You have to treat them as equals and they have to trust you before they will speak their hearts.
A great example of this is the American Indians. Many white idiots go running to some Indian reservation and ask the first old Indian they see about the meaning of life and what is coming next.
The old Indians will tell them some bullshit that the whites want to hear and the they will drive away. It actually may take years to gain their trust.
What I am trying to say here is that truth and wisdom is not based on your balance sheet and where you went to college.
The real truth is always much more illusive and hard to find.
