Re: ***SECTION 8*** FUNDING to DRY UP NOV 1 -- "MASS DISPLACEMENT"
The one major, if hypothetical, question is whether evicted section 8 tenants will burn down their dwellings on the way out, or if scheming landlords will beat them to it for the insurance money.

Either way, this would impact insurance companies in staggering ways.

keep in mind that many of the section 8 rentals are mortgaged...so with no rent, the tenant is kicked, the landlord cant pay his mortgage, and the bank forecloses....maybe the banks are behind this too, who knows.

Sorry! I don't have much compassion for sec8 housing. I was a volunteer for many of the projects and was deeply saddened when I saw who they were giving the homes to. All of these programs are only there to keep people down and dependent on government assistance, it's a vicious cruel trap they have set for the poor. The loss of funding for sec8 and HUD would be horrible but, it may be the only thing that stops people from abusing the system so many of us work so hard to support. SO, without a smile I say "GOODBYE" to all governemt assistance, lets make this the turning point for holding people accountable for the help they receive. If they produce for society we produce for them...

pardon me and all that, but GOOD! Let these bums pay their own rent. How did this situation even develop? I went homeless for years, and during that time I saw occasional TV or newspaper coverage of people receiving spanking new townhomes (in Chicago, as one example) which they soon ruined. I was the wrong skin colour and had a car to live in instead of a dumpster to shoot drugs in, so I didn't qualify. It's a disgrace to all those who work to pay rent, or just go without. I don't feel sorry for these people at all. Go get a job. If that isn't enough, go get two jobs. If that still isn't enough, make things, sell them at swap meets, wash cars, whatever. Early Americans had to practise this principle.

When I worked at a bank in Boston (an innocent of just 18 from a small town in the midwest) I worked with this black chick. I was telling her how expensive I thought the rent was. She said: You need to get you some "section 8" I was like what??? She said oh yeah...you only pay such and such amount and the government pays the rest. Then she proceeded to tell me how her and her byfriend for trying to get pregnant so she could get more foodstamps and welfare/medicaid. She told me all the different things she was doing to try to get pregnant (in great detail) YUCK...She told me they would not get married because he worked....Looking back, I see this OVER and OVER...and I am like WTF????

Hmm... FEMA camps, anyone?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 42504193

Yes.

Hypothetically speaking...

Say they knew things were coming apart and were unsustainable at the current level. They also know inner city low-income areas will be the largest liability when TSHTF. They'll be the first to riot, plunder and rage. Take the EBT "test run" last weekend as an early stage example of their mindset, look to Katrina for a mid-stage example.

They know that when riots start, they can quickly escalate. Combine a dollar crash with cutting off food stamps - with potential eviction and homelessness - with ???... you have a LOT of fuel for a very big fire. These "problems" will need to be isolated, before they become an example and FAR too big of a problem to deal with on a national scale.

At least you know who the FEMA camps are for now...

It's not as if these people will be immediately thrown out, but the landlords will be owed money and not get it. I think some places make it pretty difficult to just throw a tenant out, so it'll be the landlords getting screwed...
 Quoting: Laura Bow

huffy

If the rent isn't paid on time, these Landlords will (and always have) start eviction procedures quickly. The people on Section 8 will be evicted, they may have about 30 days and that's it. The only Section 8 housing that may get a longer break are the individual homeowners renting to them because they aren't as familiar with the eviction laws.

I use to manage apartments, and evicting people was the scariest thing I ever had to do. We would see people completely flip out, want to fight the staff, try to start fires, destroy property and even had people shot. If this were to happen today in mass, many Section 8 managers and employees would quit immediately.

I honestly believe that at some point a deal will be made and the housing vouches will be paid. But, if it doesn't, add this to the Food Stamps problem, it's a disaster waiting to happen.

while everything looks good...behind the scenes it is looking bad.

in 2003 at the start of the Iraq invasion...interest rates began to rise...that is the top...selling off bonds...and buying equities.

That is how it works.

the poor slave to inflate everything...and then when they have reached their maximum potential...the top can see this and bails.

it's the normal cycle that has been running for decades...

but by 2005...the rates killed the 1991-2005 new home real estate boom.

and it collapsed...all the line signers run out.

the resources ran out...but because home building is seasonal...it took a year to reach the next low point 2006

and break down...into 2007 where the collapse into 2008 accelerated.

since the data by 2007 was unmistakable...and those closest began to bail and the banks were merging and such.

Lehman was a controlled demolition.

that collapse was staged...the bank was loaded up with all the bad debt and collapsed.

and the story about lending to people that could not pay it back was concocted...

The problem was not lending to people that could not pay it back.

the problem was....the supply of people to lend money to.

had collapsed...

that is the supply of inflation to the multiplier effect or the banking system.

wheich began to collapse.

the g 20 in 2008 has all the puppet leaders go back and implement the greatest global economic intervention in history.

then the top covered...and then they promoted the recovery.

and from 2009...until August 2013...the markets have been going up.

The rich...the haves....have all their money tied up in the markets.

Yield rates have been dropping for 32 years.

that means that the demand is greater than the supply and the only way to make up the difference is with volume.

that is where the line signers come in.

they began drying up in 2005 and they have not returned.

so it's game over.

all that have been doing for the past 5 years is buying time.

getting distance...while slowly strangling you all.

little pokes...all along.

and now the republicans and democrats have been manipulated into a position of deadlock due to the passing of the affordable health care act.

which was nothing more than a Trojan horse.

It was designed to blow up and cause this.

the timing of the implementation...after the election going into 2014.

It will just cause massive chaos...that the real powers that be will hide behind while you all watch you elected puppets make fools of them selves and you.

it's all designed to get you all to the point where you flip out.

which will cause all the baby seals of society to scream for order from the chaos of the clubbers.

supplying the top with the reason to supply the demand of the baby seals.

That is why there has been the promotion of democracy.

In rule of LAW.

1+1=2

In democracy.

you can not like 2...and might like 3 as the answer.

and you will fight to change 2 to 3.

but in a republic...you can not.

but in a democracy...which is rule of the mob.

if the majority decides that 3 is a better answer than 2.

then 1+1=3

that is the affordable healthcare act.

it's so complex you can not even figure it out to see if it is even workable.

basically this act became law...and it's broken...and now you all are being whipped trying to implement a plan that is broken from square one.

You have all be set up and fooled.

and now being slowly walked off the plank.

None of this will happen. What WILL happen is Obongo will use the NDAA to seize property (or at least the threat of it) from the landlords who have section 8 voucher tenants. Same thing with utilities, etc.

What will end up happening is then those companies will short their PAYING customers. Landlords will screw their tenants out of services, and increase rents. Same thing with utilities, only add the fact that there will be "rolling brownouts" (easily managed from central command now that they have Smart Meters). Kommrade Komisar Obama will make sure your property keeps getting stolen and redistributed to the communist rabble.

EBT going down, Section 8 going down...their strategy is so clear it is disgusting. Low income people are the most likely to get riled up and are easily manipulated. Take away there food and housing and they cause chaos trying to take other peoples food and housing...giving them the perfect reason to swoop down with martial law.

The low income people will be used as as the means to an end.

Either way, this would impact insurance companies in staggering ways.

which is just one reason why they will continue to print to infinity.

oh, your house burnt down? well, here's your 200k payoff. you'll need it now that a loaf of bread is a thousand bucks cash if you can even find one.

Im telling ya, way to clean up welfare is to require drug tests. Im shocked that they took so long to propose. It would cut off over half of all recipients, Im sure. Half are needy and good people so it hurts me to hear anyone hating the poor. But anyways, I cleaned up some houses for a short with a company between looking for new jobs when I was a young man and heres what I saw

Dog shit all over the floor and carpets, Letting their dogs shit like land mines, cat pee, horrible stenches that you gag.

Drug syringes and porn magazines strewn everywhere with expensive kids toys. It looks like they treat their kids ok between binges

Mad people who are kicked out will do damage, I have seen sewer pipes dug out and exposed and then blugeoned, bags of trash thrown into the septic tank, sledge hammers taken to the walls and one of them was a otherwise beautiful home

They were so pissed they took a sledgehammer to it and smashed every wall they could.
