Definitely meant to be shocking, but I agree with poster below your above comment to the extent that the evil is in the idea of sexualizing the little entrants of these "pageants" in the first place. And that is something that is glorified all over TV and even in church communities, so it really deserves to be lampooned.

Many parts of the movie are real reactions not actors.

I saw this trailer in the movies and it was one of the funniest things I ever saw. I like that these American hyprocrites who prostitute out their kids have to look at what they do, also everyone that watches those shows.
