We're with you Simple. It's a SLOW process dealing with doctors, test, results, etc. I can only imagine how hard it is to be patient during this. Thank god you fought for that earlier appointment. Love to you both.

Yes, it's a process for sure and the waiting is difficult. I was definitely not blessed with patience lol. In any area of life. tounge

Total Lunar Eclipse - Here's When You Can See the Moon Turns Red this Weekend

Get ready for an epic moon event this weekend.
Overnight from Sunday, Jan. 20, 2019, into Monday, Jan. 21, millions of people in North and South America will have a prime view of a total lunar eclipse. During a special nocturnal hour, the full moon will become fully tinted with the red-orange color of sunset.

The Jan. 21 total lunar eclipse will be the last one until May 2021, and the last one visible from the United States until 2022; the most recent total lunar eclipse previous to this one appeared in July 2018.

Simple, how much snow are they predicting for your area at this point? Last I looked, it seemed like you could get a foot or so. I'm curious about Isis. I forget where she is exactly, but I heard NEPA is due to get a foot or so as well. I hope my focused thoughts worked and she's going to have a good snow-in! Now I just need to send it Arnie's way...

They still have no clue how much snow we're going to get here. It will be minimal compared to last weekend - I'm hearing anywhere from 2-4", however, there are pockets surrounding us that are slated for 6" or more, so I guess anything goes. But it's going to be a mess out there tomorrow regardless, because we are going to get all forms of precipitation. Starting w/rain tonight, turning to freezing rain and/or sleet, then to snow. What time it turns to snow will impact how much we get. There will also be brutally cold winds kicking in tomorrow, so although we aren't getting a ton of snow, it's going to be blowing around like a blizzard and nothing's going to melt because the temps are going to dip so low.

Good advice Arnie.

I touch so many damn phones. I use hand sanitizer by the buckets at work. Number one form of germ transfer, cell phones.

Shit is disgusting taking a phone out of a case, after 3 years of never being cleaned. So much grime

A high risk of much below-normal temperatures is possible during the last week of January for the Great Lakes, Midwest, and Ohio Valley tied to multiple intrusions of arctic air. Frosts/freezes are also possible for the citrus growing regions of Florida. [link to www.cpc.ncep.noaa.gov] …

The amount we'll get is still questionable here too. The last I heard on the news was 8-16 inches. We start with heavy snow early tomorrow night through Sunday at some point and then it will turn into sleet and/or ice and then back to snow. I'm curious what the 10:00 news will have to say.

That's interesting that the prediction there is such a wide range. that's the situation here, but it's more like anywhere from 1"-6". I assumed it was because we seem to be in a weird spot where the slightest change could impact things, but maybe this whole storm is hard to predict regardless of the location. Assuming you fall in that 8-16" range, even on the low end, that's a good snow so I hope you enjoy it!
