Why full moon on June 12-13 is called a Honey Moon

The June 12-13, 2014 full moon comes roughly one week before the June solstice. Like every full moon, the June full moon has its own special quality. The June full moon travels low as seen from the N. Hemisphere (and high as seen from the S. Hemisphere) as it journeys from east to west across the sky throughout the night. In fact, the June full moon mimics the path of the December sun.

In this hemisphere, the June full moon is sometimes called a Honey Moon, possibly because it never gets very high in the sky. When we gaze toward this full moon throughout the night tonight, we are seeing it through more of Earth’s atmosphere than when the moon is overhead. The atmosphere reddens its color. Slooh will be broadcasting online coverage of the full Honey Moon.

I read it was the rare Strawberry Moon? But mostly known as the Honey Moon.

I know I've been posting a lot of random things since yesterday. Oh well. After tonight I'll just post neat, informative news, with good links.

Well, I shall give it to you then. Just click the link, right click and save. There, all yours.

Just poured my 1st vodka drink. Just cheap vodka and seltzer water, as usual. I did go to the bank today, grocery shopping and the Chinese place. I didn't make it mid town to the post office though. I'll just stick the dad's day card in the mail box in the morning. He'll get it late, oh well.

I know deep down inside, he's just happy I stopped buying him cheap store brand neck ties, mugs and cheap TaylorMade golf balls, like 17 years ago.

Dad's and even single men love bone in rib eyes. Try and get U.S. Choice grade, that will have great marbling (veins of fat). But, around my neck of the woods, nice bone in rib eyes U.S. Choice can be 13.99lb. So if you need like 4 steaks. Go for the pre packaged U.S. Select. Usually they are in the family packs, like 4 to 6 steaks...

But all in all, I know you know what your doing Simple27. For all I know you and your dad don't like rib eyes, but go for for NY strip, or T-bones.

Filet megion is OVER rated. Yes, they melt in your mouth like butter. But all in all, they have little beef taste. That is why they are often wrapped in bacon or served with shrimp.
