Dentists remove mass in 7-year-old boy’s mouth containing 526 ‘tooth-like’ structures

(WHDH) — A 7-year-old boy complaining about a swollen jaw recently underwent a dental procedure in which dentists removed more than 500 teeth from a mass that was growing in his jaw.

Saveetha Dental College and Hospital in India says the boy’s parents first noticed swelling in his jaw when he was 3 years old but opted not to have him undergo investigative procedures because he was so young.

The bizarre case marks the first in the world to be ever documented.

The rare lesion was termed “compound odontome.”

Couple of not-so-great health updates here. Nef's insurance wouldn't cover his scan this week. The ball was dropped and his doctors office never sent an authorization when they received the insurance denial. Big mess. So now we're waiting to hear back from them with a new appointment date.

Me, I saw the rheumatologist yesterday for a follow up. He is going to be treating me for fibromyalgia (my mom has this, although you'd never know it) and Raynaud's Syndrome. Idk. I'm not a huge fan of being put on these new medications. I worry about the side effects as I am physically sensitive to just about everything. We'll see though. Maybe they'll help.

Any relief is cool with me : )

My only concern is that this doesn't explain the blood levels always rising. He checked yesterday and both my hemoglobin and hematocrit were out of range/high again. Knowing my body by now, I'm not too concerned with the levels currently, but if they go up further by my next appointment I'll likely be headed back to the hematologist. :|

5 years and counting on guinea pig status here. I've just adapted to the pain and have learned how to semi-control it. What other choice was/is there really.

The overnight sleep study, I feel was mostly a fail. I couldn't sleep. Couldn't get comfortable, would dose off and my loud breathing (okay some use the term snoring, but a lady doesn't so....lol) would wake me up. I will likely have to go back in because it was showing some apnea (they weren't even suppose to tell me that much) and they couldn't try out the CPAP machine because my sleep was so disturbed.

So....what I knew would happen did. Just too light of a sleeper. Now 10 days to wait for any results as it takes time to go over them by the doc.

They made it clear that I would have to go back in because they would have to calibrate the machine for my needs due to the severe asthma.

Came home and pretty much passed out for 4 hours! Diddn't want to sleep longer or I wouldn't sleep tonight but already sleepy. NOW I need to be there, lol

Praying for these health issues, and the treatments being prescribed. I pray you get some relief! And that you get the healing you deserve with the celery protocol. Keep it up! I went to your thread, and got about half way through it last night. Some awesome information there! I plan to start next week after we get back from our trip. Have to get out the juicer and make sure I have all the parts!

I checked the organic celery price at Wallie World this afternoon - a 2-pack was a little over $3.

Haven't had those checked again yet, but no real history of problems there.

I wonder if your liver is working right. But that would be an educated guess!

Liver enzyme levels were last checked in February or March and were good. In range. An improvement from the previous check even.

Haven't had those checked again yet, but no real history of problems there.
