I have family, spread out over a couple islands. Just second and third tear, on the relation though. Last time any Hawaiian family was in town, well I guess in 2007. It was for a wedding. Some Midwest family came as well.

Yup, big group of them. Me, my two cousins that live in Seattle and three of the Hawaiian family cousins. well we went to Canada in an SUV. Just for like 10 or 15 hours though. We just got lost all over Vancouver. We found a few neat places and things. One of the cousins thought as soon we crossed the border, it'd be much colder. When it was actually clear and 75 at night in August.

As soon as we got out of the SUV, she stuck her iPhone in her jacket and her ear buds popped out. She then took her coat off.
mindblown

back then you just needed regular old state ID. Now you need a passport or the Enhanced Driver License. The one with the radio signal tag (RFID). [link to www.dol.wa.gov]

Not for the better either. Soon they will stop interstate travel. I wonder if the majority will even care???

Last night I was listening to my wide range of music and my daughter was teasing my strange taste from old music (70's and 80's) to really old country (40's - 60's), throw in some Jamaican Hawaiian and American Indian tunes and she just thinks I am weird. I was listening to the below song, which she has heard me crank up high and sing away (if it is too loud you are too old) 1000's of times. She just didn't know the name of the group.

"Doobies?? You mean like a marijuana cigarette?????"

I about fell out of my chair laughing so hard.

It was pretty bad overnight. I couldn't get comfortable and barely slept. I caved and took a couple of the pain killers , 1 very early this morning and 1 about a half hour ago, so I'm not in much pain now but I'm really drowsy.

Some people can't handle the narcotics, especially with codeine. Did they give you something for nausea? Try the Advil (generic form is fine), 600 mg every 6 hours around the clock. It works on the inflammation, which keeps the swelling down, which is where most of the pain comes from. Also, ice that baby. 20 minutes on, 20 minutes off.

It was so weird. I don't normally have a problem with pain meds. It came out of nowhere, too. My mouth started watering a lot and I knew it was coming!

They didn't give me anything for nausea. Just oxycodone. I'm gonna put some ice on it now. hugs

After I had surgery on the side of my neck, I was written Oxycontin for 30 days. I had a large bottle with like 90. About the first 6 or 7 days, I wasn't eating much. About day three, I read the pamphlet. On an empty stomach, have some crackers and a little cup of milk. It was a long full month.

I had to get back to work once the stitches were out. I think it was about 7 days later. Anyways, I still hurt and did light work for about 15 days. I just keep quiet and didn't do much. I was not even suppose to be on the warehouse floor on pain meds. But I, like most of us, need monies to live.

I was also prescribed 10 nausea pills and a stool softener. Long term on narcotics, I guess one can feel sour and not have a good bm often.

No, not for pills. Well, I mean I did feel bad, got sick two times and had some chills a few times, for a bit. I just drank juice and ate ramen for like 2 days and 3 nights. Some where in there I slept for like 15 hours. All this came on late of the second day with out the oxy. I had a big meal, and then slept for a bit, woke up feeling bad or uneasy for about the next 72 hours. I felt real good on the 6th day in the afternoon, so I got out of the house, to Jack in the Box. I ate so much and felt so good. I got out of the house the next 4 or 5 days in a row. Was back to normal after that. So it was weird and bad 6 or 7 days.
blackeye

On a plus side, I didn't drink for 23 days. Personally, that was an accomplishment and I felt great about that. I actually didn't begin to get back in old habits and drink heavily and almost nightly for almost three and half months.

11 killed, dozens feared trapped as 2 buildings collapse in India (PHOTOS)

At least 11 people were killed in India after two buildings collapsed in New Dehli and Tamil Nadu states on Saturday, police said. Dozens are feared trapped under the rubble.

Ten people were killed, including five children, when a four-story building in New Delhi toppled over, security officials said. The 50-year-old apartment building housed only fourteen residents, according to police.
