well, I am proud. Got the snicker doodles and chocolate cookies done.
Tomorrow will do the Christmas Stollen (it is a St Lucia Crown but in my family we call it that because my mama did) and possibly the yeast rolls, though I may wait till the 24th for that or they will be gone.
Christmas dinner will be simple - one large salad - buffet style with all the fixings. No one feels like doing a big meal, that was for Thanksgiving.
Quoting: WhiteAngel It’s nice to mix it up and not always do the same schtick! I’ve never made lollipop lamb chops so ordered them and will make them for Christmas. They look easy peaszy. I’m also going to try to make homemade pasta while I’m off, wide noodle with maybe a bolognais sauce. Hope your salad comes out good. Quoting: Isis One Sounds yummy Isis -------- lamb chops are always a winner here, and you are brave to make the noodles,,,tried it once and asked myself, "why am I doing this,,,,,really?" Quoting: WhiteAngel That sounds perfect - a couple kinds of cookies, a xmas morning stollen, a simple dinner, and your rolls (of course). That's all you need! Good time but had to do 3 doses of magnesium. I do teaspoon of calm powder in hot water. Three does in 24 hours. I usually only need 1-2 week. One dose before I went to prevent cramping. I knew I’d be dancing and sitting long time cutting off circulation. One dose this morning, another this evening as the muscle inside thigh around hip and up into lower back seized up. They’re excruciatingly painful.

I make them in the slow cooker, so it's very easy. I have a really good korean-style recipe that I typically use, but this year I'm going with a red wine-based recipe. I'll let you know how it turns out. I'm happy to share either recipe if you opt to make them for NYE. |

Quoting: KickinIt The CBD oil helps with joint stiffness but it’s so gosh dang expensive. I’m just going to convince myself everything I need is within me. Quoting: Isis One I actually have CDB in vape form. I did a lot of research and got reputable stuff, but I've been bad about using it regularly so I can't say if it's helped or not. Another thing is that when I did my research I learned about the terpenes and how they factor in, except that I couldn't find any clear info as to which terpenes help with what issue. So I wasn't even sure if what I got would help with the body aches (although, I have so many things going on I figured it would help with something). Anyway, long story not-so-short, on Thanksgiving a friend of mine gave me a terpene chart she got at her pot store in IL. It's exactly what I was looking for online but somehow couldn't find! So I think down the road when the vapes are done I might venture into a higher dosage and get the sublingual stuff and ensure I get the correct terpene(s). But my friend uses it for rheumatoid arthritis pain and she said ideally I need a CBD/THC blend for max effect. Which I cannot get in MO but once things are fully legal across the river I fully intend to go over there to get it. |
