It's also fascinating to me how really old structures, including downright ancient ones, still stand and are solid. Today nothing is built to last. Homes, appliances, clothing. People have extra freezers in their basement from the 50's that function fine, yet a new one won't make it 20 years! |

I had a bedroom dresser some years ago that was cool looking but literally started falling apart about 8 years in. When I replaced it, I bought an antique mid-century piece that is solid is a rock. I expect it to last until I die, lol. China cabinet is the same - built in the mid 50s and still gorgeous. Even has the original light inside that functions with a little pull chain. I hardly turn the light on because I'm not sure they still make the type of light bulb that goes in it anymore! |

This is in Brooklyn, NY video [link to twitter.com (secure)] Thank you for your time and effort for the updates here in the EQ thread Kickin and Simple. "The government will one day be corrupt and full of liars, and the people will flock to the one that tells the truth." - “Tyranny is defined as that which is legal for the government but illegal for the citizenry.” - "The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not." - "I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them." - "A Country with no Border, is not a country" -- Thomas Jefferson We MUST NEVER forget what Kamala Harris did to Justice Kavanaugh & his family! |

Have seen just a couple people wearing masks. I'm more afraid of this being a scapegoat for stripping our rights away and furthering government control. I'm not sure what is going to happen. Can this virus really just go away? And everything be back to normal? I dunno. Part of me feels like it's gonna crash the entire world. Fear will, not the virus itself. But stil, people will be begging the government for help. Remember when Reagan said how aliens could unite all of humanity? I keep thinking of that with this virus. That a new world order could arise from the ashes of this panic if it goes sideways - under the guise of working together and rebuilding the planet. I'm not afraid. Just riding the wave. Or maybe body surfing a tsunami is more appropriate under our current situation Who knows what'll happen. I dont know shiiiiteee. Hope everyone had a great weekend. Miss you all |
