Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Re: Earthquake Thread ~ Always Updated I started getting sick on Monday. Nothing major, but my immune system is shit so every little thing I catch tends to linger longer than normal. Congestion, runny nose (blowing lime green), sore throat, headaches and a slight cough. Highest temp has only been 99.5. I threw up one time Saturday night before any cold symptoms came on, and I threw up one time Monday night. Poops since Tuesday morning (sorry, just trying to be detailed and honest haha!) Started the elderberry Tuesday night. Sore throat went away yesterday, less than 24 hours after starting the elderberry. Aside from the sore throat going away, I still have the congestion and runny nose and green boogies. Temp hasn't been above 98ish since Tuesday. Feel kinda crappy overall, but able to function. I'm gonna try a 1/2 teaspoon of colloidal silver tonight. I've actually never tried the silver lol. It's pricey. I have this one. [ link to www.amazon.com (secure)] I'll report on how I feel tomorrow after trying this. : ) Just wanted to share. I don't think I have corona or anything lol. Just testing supplements for symptoms. ~*Ride the Wave*~ |

Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Re: Earthquake Thread ~ Always Updated The is from a friend and not me but thought everyone should read it ************* This is a message sent to me by an engineer I do side work for:
From someone that works for CDC that passed this along to his family and friends. I'm passing it along as well.. The new NCP coronavirus may not show sign of infection for many days, how can one know if he/she is infected. By the time they have fever and/or cough and goes to the hospital, the lungs is usually 50 % Fibrosis and it's too late! Taiwan experts provide a simple self-check that we can do every morning: Take a deep breath and hold your breath for more than 10 seconds. If you complete it successfully without coughing, without discomfort, stuffiness or tightness, etc.,it proves there is no fibrosis in the lungs, basically indicating no infection. In critical times, please self-check every morning in an environment with clean air. SERIOUS EXCELLENT ADVICE by Japanese Doctors treating COVID-19 cases: Everyone should ensure your mouth & throat is moist, never DRY. Take a few sips of water every 15 mins at least. WHY? Even if the virus gets into your mouth...drinking water or other liquids will WASH them down through your esophagus into the stomach. Once there in tummy...your stomach ACID will kill all the virus. If you don't drink enough water more regularly....the virus can enter your windpipes and into the LUNGS. That's very dangerous. Please send and share with family, friends and everyone.Last Edited by WhiteAngel on 03/05/2020 10:21 PM |

I've enjoyed getting caught up with all of you here, at least to some degree. Ive come tonight because I need a group hug. I'm pretty down tonight. Aside from the doom and gloom of the virus, we got some pretty sobering news today. Baby S's mom was sentenced today. The judge could have given her anywhere from 15 to 40 years. She got the 40.
I really wasn't expecting this. I guess the case was much worse than I knew. I've purposely tried not to learn too much about the things she & her boyfriend did - some things you just can't un-know. But it must have been pretty bad to get the high end of the sentence. The sobering thought is that the other great-grandparents and hubby and I will be long gone before she gets out, because of our ages. I feel for her family - they are devastated. But I also feel for Baby S - she will never know her mom.
We go to court next Monday for the final - hopefully - hearing on custody of Baby S. If final agreement is reached, hubby and I will be primary custodians, with shared visitation with the other great grandparents. My goal is to hopefully get Baby S's dad further down the road in his sobriety and in a year or two be able to file for custody. Virus allowing. He will take this sentencing news hard.
Y'all have stood by me through this whole process, and I thank you for that. I just wanted to let you know what has transpired and to ask for prayers and positive energy as we go through these last stages. I'm depressed and ready to quit adulting today. Just can't quit.
Thanks for listening! Y'all are the best, and I appreciate all of you!

Prayers as well, granny. Thank GOD that little baby girl has you. Quoting: Simple27 Thanks, Simp.. Love you, lady! I disconnected today. Quoting: justanothergranny Granny, so sorry to read this. Even though baby S. mom brought this upon herself and needs to face the consequences of her actions, I do understand that hearing that sentence comes as a shock, with impact of it for your granddaughter. Even in what happened, it does not mean our hearts are cold. I too feel for the mom's family. Lives are destroyed by her actions, including her's. And when S. grows up, she will for sure ask about her mom too. But that is for later. She now is in the safety and warmth of your arms and that will shape her future for the better. In that respect she is the luckiest girl in the world and she couldn't have wished for a better family. And hopefully along the way, her dad will find his way back and reunite with her as well. So there is so much to gain for all of you from here on. After every ending comes a new beginning you know. Once all formalities are done, you can finally go back to living and finding peace and joy again. And you will, no doubt about that. You have shown that in the past year. I have so much respect for you. You are beautiful. So much love to all of you! Things will be alright.. Quoting: InterMezzo Thank you, IM! I soo appreciate your words of caring & support! Today was a better day...enjoyed being outside with Baby S & going to see my other granddaughter compete in her sports. Every day is a day to enjoy life & make things better. Quoting: WhiteAngel I'm still growing the 8 plants from that video. They need more time. They're all auto-flowers so I can only get 1 harvest per plant (cloning doesn't work with autos).
