Last post then I'm off to bed - I can't believe what an incredible group of people we have on this thread! I am humbled and yet proud to be a part of this community. You guys are the best! Sim - you've gotten excellent advice from IM & CS - not much I can add but to emphasize the need to take care of yourself! Your papa would be devastated to think that your concern for him would make you sick too! You are a tough cookie, and he helped make you strong. Now you have to take a deep breath and dig deep for the strength he instilled in you because he needs all you can project, for him. Just know that there's a lot of good friends here who have your back. We're praying, sending strong positive vibes, whatever their belief system is - because we love & care about you. Drink in the goodness and strength we are sending to you. Kickin, Spirit Warrior, and John - you guys ROCK! My heartfelt thanks and appreciation for taking up the banner and running with it. Wherever you are, I pray God's richest blessings on you because of the kind of people you are. To everyone else here, I hope you feel the positivity and strength that eminates from this thread. It's because of the COMMUNITY - the genuine caring that binds us all. We may share an interest in all things EQ, but we are bound by our care & concern for each other. You are each one a VIP in so many ways. On another note - one year ago today I lost my Mom. I have missed her so much over the past year, and wished so often that I could talk to her again. It was a tough year, with all the stuff with grandson, then Baby S and all the legal/court stuff. And now the virus. But I went & put flowers on her grave today and finally felt some closure. I'm glad she's not here to be quarantined. She's in a much better place. I have peace. Love you guys. Stay safe and healthy. And thanks for making this a wonderful place to come to, especially in times like these. Quoting: justanothergranny Missing a Mama is the hardest thing when one was close to her. Lost mine in 2007 this month and I still miss her dearly. |

And, although the moon won’t be very pink, it will be a bright, eye-catching shade of orange.
The full moon will be visible in North America on April 7...
So, if you’re looking to catch the bright lights, find a clear spot to look eastward as the sun sets Tuesday night — particularly around 10:35 EST, when the moon will reach peak illumination.
And don’t freak out if you miss it. The next supermoon, called the “full flower moon,” will appear exactly one month later, on May 7. [ link to www.yahoo.com (secure)] Quoting: KickinIt ~*Ride the Wave*~ |

They did another chest x-ray and it's showing fluid in his lungs which could be caused by the ventilator so they want to get him off of it asap. White cell count is high so they're giving him antibiotics. A PICC line has been inserted. His heartbeat was really fast so they gave him meds for that and were able to get it down. No fever. He's still really out of it so they might do a cat scan tomorrow. I guess he is 'awake' but not responding/focusing like he should be. ~*Ride the Wave*~ |

Quoting: Simple27 What is the EEG for? Because he's not responding as they'd like? Did he officially get tested for COVID? I can't remember if they officially diagnosed him with it or if we all just assumed based on symptoms. Glad you're feeling better, probably was stress-related |
