Yet another one down... [ link to imgur.com (secure)] We are going to have to slow down on these. We've gone through all of the ones that my lovely wife got from a work friend (except the glitter one... I will NOT do a glittery one!) and there is slim pickings in our local stores. Maybe time to start buying some 2k-5k specialty puzzles. Anyway... I hope y'all are having a great weekend. Hot and humid as hell here. Quoting: mistersplinter Is that Central Park? And are those the twin towers there on the left/middle? There's a bit of a glare, but it looks like the twin towers. Come on, do the glittery puzzle!! I'm intrigued, I never saw a glittery puzzle |

Some areas were pretty empty, but others had lots of people. Lots of masks in Boston. It's been a beautiful day so people were out and about on foot. One of the pics in the link below looks like a ghost town. Considering the time of day that we drove in, it was a ghost town. No traffic at all in Boston or driving back home. I never got to use my camera as I was the driver lol. I was able to grab some phone pics though. :) [ link to imgur.com (secure)] Quoting: Simple27 Nice pics Sim. I went to Baastun when I visited the States in the 90s, so I recognize some of the statues. ;-) Also went to Salem, for the Witch tale and the House of Seven Gables. Nice trip it was. At least you had a nice day out with Mini. I am sure that was a much needed distraction with everything going on. |

All good in the Netherlands. Had a cold this week, but finally getting out of it. No fever or anything, so no worries. Temps were swaying between high summer and late winter in a matter of a day and with pollen around I guess I caught it. We are opening up terraces and bars again on June 2nd. I will be laying in front of the bar when they open up, lol. And I get a haircut coming Friday. There goes the John Denver look. It seems that numbers even with opening up and much more crowded streets etc., are still going down, so fingers crossed. We need to stay smart though, no need to challenge faith. I hope everyone is doing as good as can be. You are all in my thoughts and I love you all. Stay safe and stay healthy. Not much more we can do. Enjoy your weekend!! *end of Mezzo's Weekend Mezzage* |

Enjoy your weekend!! *end of Mezzo's Weekend Mezzage* Quoting: InterMezzo Hope you are feeling better now. Things are slowly opening up here too. I was out earlier for a while and it seems everyone is out! Roads are busy, lots of businesses with cars in the parking lot. I tried to go to a garden center to get a certain potting mix I wanted, and maybe a couple of plants. It was so busy they were directing traffic into the place! And this is a small, neighborhood business. I managed to park, then walked around the corner towards the entrance and saw a long line to get in. The place is small so I bagged it, it's hot/humid today and I also had a haircut appt. to get to eventually. Had a bit of extra time since that didn't pan out so I then went to a big box store garden center and of course they don't carry the potting soil I wanted, so I headed to the salon. For once in my life I had good timing - I last got my hair cut on 3/14, which ended up being the weekend before everything shut down. And when I left that day I made my next appt. which happened to be for today, the first weekend they are opened back up. My timing usually sucks so I'm feeling pretty good about that, lol |

I couldn't tell w/the glare if it was two separate buildings or if they were connected in the middle. It does look a bit like a NYC/Central Park theme though. |
