I had never heard that about the 0.00 location, but I find it hard to believe every one of these Gabon quakes was a mistake. One quake I would buy that theory, but 5? And why did the first few stay posted so long before they were scrubbed? The whole thing is weird. I can't find a lot on twitter as far as any personal testimonies who felt it. I don't know much about Gabon, but I'm thinking those folks are not big on the twitter scene so the lack of testimonies might be irrelevant.

On a related note, do you or anyone else here remember the few random times a huge megaquake showed up in Africa on globalincidentmap? It would only show up on that site, and someone would always come post it here, or start their own thread about it, and it was always a mistake and eventually scrubbed. But what made it weird was that it happened more than once over the course of a couple of years, the quake was always a 9-pointer, and it was always in the same spot in Africa. I remember the visual of the map and the large dot was on the west side, close to the coast but epicenter on land. Thinking about it now, I believe it was in the vicinity of Gabon.
