It's 2020, I was expecting fires regardless. And snow. And fireballs from the sky.

There's also a prenumbral lunar eclipse that day, and the comet to be seen....

So I had a very vivid dream last night and the Moon was humongous in the sky, seemed very, very close and very full. It wasn't rising or setting but moving horizontally across the sky parallel to the horizon and eventually turned blood red.

It was pretty cool, but also seemed a bit ominous lol.

Just finished that alignment video, wow. I knew there was going to be an alignment but that's a lot of planets

Nice Mezzo, you bring up great points (that most will refuse to see). I bumped it. Let's see how long before it's deleted or HLF or one of the other beloveds reports it as an abusive post.

I saw that, pretty creepy. My only issue with it from the beginning, which others on that thread eventually mentioned, is why that guy didn't post this when he first had the dream? He's posting it now, when half of it has already happened. For that reason I'm taking it with a grain of salt. Also, I don't want him to be correct :)

No, he really loved it and after the first fish he threw him the 2nd and 3rd fish. And usually we always catch and releas the fish, IF we catch anything, lol.

I guess you could eat some of the fish, but we haven't done that in decades. Unless it is trout or eel fishing. This is usually the time to get the best smoked eel. It is a tradition over here when the June fair is here. As family, we always used to put money together and get a few pounds of smoked eel. Simply delicious! Yet, it has become very expensive. About $30 for one pound of smoked eel.

I know eel is a delicacy and expensive. I've never had it myself. Not sure if I could stomach it, just knowing it's an eel. although I love fish, so maybe I would like it.

The Chiefs were playing the Raiders. President Barack Obama had eliminated patriotic military flyovers at large events. A group of guys in Kansas City who do some formation flying in their own planes, decided they'd volunteer to save this tradition and pick up the slack.

They invited a couple of other groups to join them and before they knew it, they had 48 guys with their own airplanes signing up to join in. If they had more time, they probably would have gotten an even larger group as people kept joining, and a 49th was added near the event.

No disrespect for your personal opinion my friend, but I don't think this is the thread for comments like that. Just so you know, I reported that as an abusive post as I took it as offensive in more than one way.

I believe this is at least one of the very scarce places where we try to keep a respectful and friendly atmosphere. There are enough threads where a comment like that would not even be out of the norm, unfortunately...

But that's just my personal opinion.
