whoops, I just now realized you're talking about CS's mask thread. I had Mezzo's thread on the brain when I posted that, so my no-vodka-needed warning is OFF! You might, in fact, need the vodka, and I think CS will attest to that, lol. I only saw his thread earlier this morning when there were way less pages, and haven't checked back, because I couldn't take any more. Just talked to a friend that lives in an area where the houses are on 3 acre parcels. She said that there next door neighbors tested positive for CV about a week ago. They have Kaiser health insurance here in California. Her neighbors that are married both got it. He came down with symptoms that were very mild to the point that he didn't know that he would test positive. His wife tested positive as well and did well for a week and now after driving herself to the Doctor and having to pull over and stop to rest a few times is so tired that she can't get out of bed. My friend said that today the husband was out mowing the lawn and still is positive. His wife is still in bed. So in this case the symptoms between the two of them were not the same and it sounds like they could have passed it off for something else until they both got tested.
Who would have thought??

It's actually pretty common for covid-19 to affect someone differently than someone else, I've learned.

It was somewhat similar for my brother and sister in law. My SIL had a much worse case, and ended up with pneumonia. My bro's was more mild (although he felt miserable for a good week) and almost could've been passed off as something else.
