User ID: 45716769 Netherlands 07/02/2020 05:30 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Just started my online study Transport Planning. Quite a challenge at first to get back into the discipline of studying after so many years.. It's a half year study, but I hope to be able to do it in two or three months max. Quoting: InterMezzo This is awesome Mezzo! Excellent idea and I'm proud of you for doing it! Thank you Sim . Not easy for someone with an extreme deadline mentality. I tend to postpone things till the last moment. I can't recall the times I had to write a column, for which I had six weeks and ended up writing it at 4 am on the morning I had to send it in. Or begging and banging on the door at Christmas Eve just before closing time, because I had to still buy presents.. But it's a good thing to start again. We all need our focus on the future again. The best way to generate much needed positive energy ;-) |

User ID: 45716769 Netherlands 07/02/2020 05:34 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Sorry WA, sounds like a mess over there. Unless they determine the tree is dying and must come down, I would go with the cheapest option. Is this tree hovering over the neighbor's house or garage or something? I'm trying to figure out why he has such an issue w/it, unless it would damage his property if it fell. Perhaps it can be trimmed back, if that's the case. Although that's not cheap either, but removal will definitely cost more. Hoping it gets resolved soon. Just ignore your neighbor, although it definitely sucks to have that tension ongoing. Quoting: KickinIt This is a huge tree. Half of the canopy goes over his yard. When it blows, twigs and limbs going in his yard. We have always told him, just throw them over into our yard. The day we moved in, he said to us "I hope you plan on doing something with that damned tree!" And yes, he yelled it. I said, no need to yell at us, we are only just moving in and not our fault. He said it was now. That was on day one. We have been here for 11 years. Still haven't heard back from the city. Damn. Sorry to hear this Angel. More negative energy and expenses that you don't need. And to live next to Neighbor Jones (Donald Duck's always angry neighbor.) I hope it solves soon. And my most positive thoughts for a speedy recovery of your brother. User ID: 45716769 Netherlands 07/02/2020 05:49 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Hey everyone Quoting: CuriousSeeker2999 If I'm banned again, you'll know why. An army is redding me after my masks post. I know I deserve it. But I'm not standing by and not taking action against these idiot non-mask wearers any longer. If that happens to happen, I love you all. I wouldn't compare you with Emiliano Zapata who said: "I'd rather die on my feet than live on my knees." But have to give kudos for your swimming against the current and defending your stand in this, even if I myself would consider discussing or arguing like that counter productive. But that's just my personal opinion. For your spirit I masked one red for you with green. Last Edited by InterMezzo on 07/02/2020 05:52 AM |

User ID: 45716769 Netherlands 07/02/2020 05:53 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Hey all! Hope all are well! Quoting: justanothergranny Am enjoying COOL weather here in southern Colorado! Really nice after the 100+ degrees every day in W TX! Appreciate all the updates and info, especially about the lunar eclipse and the solar/planetary alignment. The moon at 9 pm on the 4th will be directly off my sister's balcony. We should have a great view. We were looking at Jupiter and Saturn tonight - VERY bright. Not sure what to expect from the alignment, though. Bad happenngs??? I am loving the countryside here - so quiet and peaceful. I've shed a ton of stress in the past 24 hours. I'm glad I came. We had no problems on the drive - used clorox wipes and hand sanitizer for our fuel stops. And will stay through next week unless the protests and civil unrest get so bad it's better to head home, or the virus cases cause more stringent measures that will make travel difficult. News reports from W TX are that we are seeing nearly 100 new cases a day now, in each city. Both cities have refused to make masks mandatory. Those of us who are trying to be ultra cautious will almost have to self-isolate because the number of cases/exposures is growing almost exponentially and so many are not taking any precautions. Looks like we'll be staying home a lot!!! Now that the wifi is hooked up, I'll be able to get on daily to see how things are going. Love & hugs from CO! So glad you took that trip. Stay as long as you can granny. You deserve the peace, quiet and cool. You all do. Enjoy! Much love! |

User ID: 45716769 Netherlands 07/02/2020 05:58 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I initially said Tuesday. Days are blurred here. Quoting: InterMezzo Just started my online study Transport Planning. Quite a challenge at first to get back into the discipline of studying after so many years.. It's a half year study, but I hope to be able to do it in two or three months max. Good luck! What is transport planning? Transport Planning has everything to do with logistics, more specific when it comes to efficient loads, routes, regulations, laws, communication with truck drivers, clients etc. Can be a hectic situation with delays etc. It is quite a large field and there is quite a demand for transport planners at the moment. But I am also doing it to show that I am still active when it comes to expanding my knowledge, for future applications. |
