Beautiful night... the temp broke a little, clear, and a nice full moon over the trees.

Sooo many folks shooting of BIG fireworks. It's like everyone all around me had something. Still going off now, but it has lessened a bit. From 9 to 10 was incredible...fireworks everywhere.

I hope you all have had/are having a great 4th!

I can relate, I will also scream if a bat is flying around. Which is not what you want to do, because they will gravitate towards sound (from what I have heard). I have bats in my yard too, but they mostly come out at dusk or just after dark.

Happy 4th!!!!! Hope you had a wonderful holiday!

Am enjoying my visit to southern CO - sister and I went into the small local community this morning and watched their celebration (parade - but parades had been banned so it was a celebration!) We had a blast - the people are so friendly, everyone spoke and were friendly, but almost ALL had on masks, even though we were outside. Went back to the condo and sat and watched the rain for several hours. It's partially cloudy now, but the moon is fiercely bright. It's beautiful outside, but a very cool 53 degrees!!!

I love it here, and the peace and relaxation has been wonderful. So much so that I put a contract on a condo just down from my sister's!!!!! I'll be spending a lot more time in the mountains!!!!

My friend with COVID is doing some better - he is quarantined at home. It's been a nightmare for his wife. She tested negative, but is being checked daily.

Better go before I lose wifi - it's been pretty sketchy. And phone service is horrible. But the lack of electronics has helped with the peace and relaxation.

Glad to know yall have been having such a great holiday! Love all of you!!!

Love and hugs from southern CO!!

I saw this earlier, but didn't want to share in hopes that it wouldn't manifest lol...

LUNAR ECLIPSE MAY BE INVISIBLE: There's a lunar eclipse tonight! Bad news: It may be invisible. Eclipse expert Fred Espenak, formerly of NASA, believes that the Moon will not dip deeply enough into Earth's shadow to make the eclipse visible to the naked eye. "I fear the general media is hyping this event when there's really nothing more to see than a Full Moon--although that’s beautiful in its own right," he says.
