Am enjoying my visit to southern CO - sister and I went into the small local community this morning and watched their celebration (parade - but parades had been banned so it was a celebration!) We had a blast - the people are so friendly, everyone spoke and were friendly, but almost ALL had on masks, even though we were outside. Went back to the condo and sat and watched the rain for several hours. It's partially cloudy now, but the moon is fiercely bright. It's beautiful outside, but a very cool 53 degrees!!! I love it here, and the peace and relaxation has been wonderful. So much so that I put a contract on a condo just down from my sister's!!!!! I'll be spending a lot more time in the mountains!!!! My friend with COVID is doing some better - he is quarantined at home. It's been a nightmare for his wife. She tested negative, but is being checked daily. Better go before I lose wifi - it's been pretty sketchy. And phone service is horrible. But the lack of electronics has helped with the peace and relaxation. Glad to know yall have been having such a great holiday! Love all of you!!! Love and hugs from southern CO!! TANSTAAFL - There Ain't No Such Thing As A Free Lunch |
